Week O' Teething

It's Spring Break, SXSW, and the weather is gorgeous in Austin this week, so it's nearly impossible to focus on anything other than fun, sun, and music. While Justin's in KC to cheer on the Hawks at the Big 12 Tournament, Eleanor's going to attend her first SXSW festivities. Obviously, it'll be a G-rated version of our normal shenanigans, but it'll be fun nonetheless.

This week's tidbits:

: We've had a rough time with Eleanor getting her top two front teeth in. She's been a drooling, snotty mess and is as irritable as ever. I feel terrible for her because there's not much we can do. It looks like 1 tooth is on the cusp of breaking through, so hopefully that will help.

: Ellie is obsessed with emptying out anything that's contained: refrigerator, grocery bags, basket of diapers, books from the bookshelf, purses, etc.

: A new favorite game is playing Hide and Seek with Daddy. The video below doesn't really do it justice.

: We have a High Fiver now. It's not an enthusiastic high five, but it'll suffice.

: Miss E is getting blonder by the day. While we love her golden locks, we're not as keen on the baby mullet. Even so, I hate to trim her baby hair!

: Eleanor still adores the outdoors. This week she discovered dirt and big rocks in our backyard and found them both fascinating.

: New foods this week: watermelon, chicken parmesan, ravioli, and kiwi. Two thumbs up on all...

Eleanor sported her first pair of sandals this week. Love those twinkle toes!
E and Daddy before our trail outing. Serious business.
Someone decided to throw a fit in the stroller while on our walk, so we stopped for a breather...
Loving the rocks in our backyard.
Baby in a grocery bag. You can tell she's not impressed.

One of the few moments (we're talking milliseconds here) that she kept on her new Babiators.
Nice 'do Eleanor.
Snotty girl.
So dainty! This is how E sits while eating in her high chair.
